Saffron, the world’s most expensive spice is derived from the dry stigmata of the plant Crocus Sativus. A single gram of Saffron can cost you anything north of INR 400!

Saffron acts as an antiseptic, antidepressant, anti-oxidant, anti-convulsant and as a wonderful Digestive.


It is also a great source of Copper, Potassium, Calcium, Manganese, Iron, Selenium, Zinc and Magnesium.

Modern Day Application


The Saffron extract, specifically its Crocin, is useful in the treatment of age related mental impairment. It is known to increase vitality and helps induce hair growth in Alopecia, when mixed with milk.
